Palak Paneer recipe

This is very tasty Indian Palak Paneer recipe. This Palak Paneer recipe is very tasty and very easy to cook at home.

Ingredients

  • Spinach leaves(washed) –  250 gm
  • Paneer (cubes) – 200gm
  • Cumin seed – 1/2tsp
  • Green chili (slit) – 3
  • Chopped ginger -1 inch
  • Garlic cloves(peeled) – 14-16
  • Chopped onion – 1 large
  • Chopped tomato – 1
  • Fresh cream – 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil – 4 tbsp

Direction


1st STEP


First of all turn on the flame and boil 2 liters of water in a pan/pot and boil it on high flame.

Once the water started boiling add palak in it and boil palak for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes take it out from the boiling water and pour little cold water on the leaves. Now take out the leaves on a blending jar and keep it aside.

  


2nd STEP


Turn on flame and heat a pan and add 1 tbsp oil. Now add cumin seed and fry it for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds add 3 (slit) green chili,chopped ginger , 14-16 garlic cloves and chopped onions and fry it for 2-3 minutes. After 3 minutes add chopped tomato and fry it for 2 more minutes than After 2 minutes turn of the flame and let it cool down.

3rd STEP


Now take out the fried ingredients in the same blending jar in which we already have boiled palak. Now add little water or 1/2 cup water and blend it and make paste.



Final STEP


Turn on the flame and heat a pan add 3 tbsp oil. Let the oil be heated than add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder and 1/2 tsp cumin powder and fry it for 10 seconds. Now add the prepared paste in it and stir it. Now cover the pan and cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.

After 3 minutes add fresh cream and mix it. Now add garam masala powder and salt and mix it.

Now add paneer in it and cover the pan and cook it for 2 minute on low flame.


After 2 minutes turn of the flame.

TADA palak paneer is ready.. GARNISHED IT WITH CREAM AND  CASHEW.
